Before confirming a reservation, please review this policy thoroughly. By reserving a charter with RiverStreamBridge, you are consenting to these refund terms.

Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

Over 72 Hours Prior to Charter

100% Refund

Entitled to: Complete refund minus any transaction costs

Timing of Process: 5-7 business days

Transaction Charge: €50 for credit card transactions

Prerequisites: Must be submitted via email or telephone in written form

Between 24 and 72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Qualified for: Half the overall charter expense

Timing of Process: 7-10 business days

Transaction Charge: €25 subtracted from the refund

Prerequisites: A valid rationale is necessary; administrative fees are applicable

Less Than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Qualified for: No refunds are available

Exception: Emergency scenarios may be taken into account

Alternative: Voucher for a charter may be granted at the discretion of the management

Prerequisites: Evidence is needed for emergency circumstances

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Commitment to Safety

Your safety is our utmost concern. If our certified captain deems the weather conditions as hazardous for charter operations, we offer modifyable resolutions:

  • Complete Refund: A full refund when it's not feasible to reschedule
  • Reschedule: Transfer your charter to a later available slot at no extra charge
  • Charter Credit: A credit valid for a year from the initial charter date

Evaluation of Weather Conditions

We conduct our weather analysis considering:

  • Wind velocities and patterns
  • Swells and maritime states
  • Outlook of visibility and precipitation
  • Maritime advisories and alerts
  • Professional captain's judgement on safety

Timeline for Decisions: Determinations about weather cancellations are made at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Situations Considered Emergencies

Medical emergencies are understood by us, and certain conditions might qualify for extraordinary consideration:

  • Illness or injury resulting in hospitalization
  • Loss of an immediate family member
  • Military duties or emergency orders
  • Summonses for jury duty or legal proceedings
  • Natural catastrophes impacting travel

Requirement for Documentation

To address urgent refund queries, you're asked to supply:

  • Medical certificates or hospital records
  • Death notices, if relevant
  • Formal military directives
  • Legal summons or notices for jury duty
  • Issuances of travel cautions or states of emergency

Procedure: Refunds based on emergencies are completed within 3-5 business days once appropriate proof is provided.

Operational Cancellations

Technical Disruptions

Should your designated vessel experience technical difficulties that remain unresolved:

  • Substitute Vessel: We'll strive to offer an equivalent alternative
  • Complete Refund: If a suitable substitute isn't accessible
  • Partial Reimbursement: If the substitute vessel has a different cost
  • Compensation: Additional compensation might be presented for any inconvenience

Unavailability of Crew

In the uncommon case where certified crew is not available:

  • An alternative crew will be arranged if feasible
  • A full refund will be granted if the charter cannot proceed
  • Rescheduling at no extra expense

Procedure for Refunds

Method of Repayment

Refunds are reverted via the initial payment mode used during the booking:

  • Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Wire Transfers: 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Check: 3-5 business days

€50 charge for cancelations made over 72 hours before

Wire Transfer Handling

€25 fee for all refunds via bank transfer

International Handling

Additional charges may be incurred for transactions abroad

Voucher for Charters

Situations for Voucher Issuance

Charter vouchers may be suggested instead of refunds under certain scenarios:

  • Short-notice cancellations (under 24 hours before)
  • Cancellations linked to weather
  • Voluntary rescheduling requests
  • Unforeseen operational issues

Conditions of the Voucher

  • Effective Period: Valid for one year from the date issued
  • Non-Transferable: Cannot be transferred to other individuals
  • Worth: The complete value of the charter (excluding transaction fees)
  • Utilization: Applicable to any available charter
  • Expiry: No extensions beyond the 12-month period

Partial Compensation for Services

Interruptions in Services

If your journey is impeded or cut short due to issues within our control:

  • A proportionate refund based on the unused portion
  • Credit for a future equivalent charter
  • Free additional services or upgrades

Guest-Induced Interruptions

Should a charter conclude prematurely due to guest behavior or safety infringements:

  • No reimbursement for the time not utilized
  • The full payment is still required
  • Extra fees may be imposed

Settlement of Disagreements

If there's a dispute regarding a refund decision, you may:

  • Apply for a reconsideration by our management
  • Present added documentation or proof
  • Seek remediation through consumer agencies
  • Pursue legal courses as per the law

Our representatives will acknowledge your petition within a day, consider it against this policy, provide a resolution within two days, and process authorized reimbursements within the stated periods.

Essential Considerations

  • All appeals for refunds must be in written format
  • Refunds are completed in € regardless of the original payment's currency
  • Acquiring travel insurance is highly advised
  • This policy may be revised with a notice period of 30 days
  • Refunds are subject to the relevant taxes and regulations
